Pueblo Lucero

Un pueblo, una luz para cada niño.

Every child's village, every child's light

Pueblo Lucero is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and youth from communities with limited resources and opportunities across Southern California and Baja California. We help with everything from the everyday basics that make a real difference to eyeglasses and vision care, chances to learn and build skills, and committed mentors who are there for them.

Our purpose

Pueblo Lucero goes beyond meeting immediate needs. We want to help every young person discover their potential, open doors to opportunity, and imagine a future bigger than they ever thought possible.

We believe that when a young person receives support, guidance, and the chance to be heard, they can begin to see not only what they need today, but everything they can become tomorrow.

What we do

Basic needs

We cover the everyday essentials, building the foundation every child needs to grow, thrive, and make the most of every opportunity.

School support

We support learning and educational growth, so school remains a place where every child can grow and reach their potential.

As we grow, we'll add literacy resources and career mentorship that help young people build their skills and see a clear path to their future.

Mentorship & activities

Committed mentors and extracurricular activities that build confidence, personal growth, and a sense of community.

New horizons

Experiences that broaden perspectives and help children and youth discover what's possible for their future.

Where we work

We're starting close to home, supporting children and youth in communities across Southern California and Baja California. Our goal is to grow sustainably and expand our reach to neighboring communities on both sides of the border, bringing support and opportunity to those who need it most.

Pueblo Lucero is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation and a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 42-5154861).
